How every guide is made
A guide is published only after it has gone through the same five steps. Anything that fails a step goes back to be fixed.
- 01Research
The questions an interviewer asks on the topic, the facts that answer them, and a primary source for each fact.
- 02Write and run
The guide is written in plain language. Every code sample is run, and the real output and measured numbers go into the text.
- 03Technical review
A separate reviewer re-runs the code, checks each number and claim, and requests changes until the guide is correct and clear.
- 04Originality and policy check
Distinctive sentences are searched for copies, diagrams must be original, and sources are linked rather than reproduced.
- 05Publish and correct
The guide goes live with its publish and update dates. Reported mistakes are fixed and the update date changes.
